Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Swim and Tennis Club at Fairfax Station

Committee Assignments:
Communications-Duties will fall under Secretary. Current webmaster will be contacted to get web information transferred. Secretary will work with Janet Scheren to integrate FSSTC and Swim Team sites.
Membership-Deb Williams. More aggressive marketing strategies will be explored.
Pool Operations-Barbara Duchene
Grounds-Rick Mealy. Focus will be placed on investigating conversion of septic to public sewage.
Social-Head of committee will not be a BOD position. Sheldon Hofferman and Peggy Taves will be contacted to coordinate social activities. Sheldon will be asked to oversee adult activities and Peggy will be asked to oversee family/child activities.
Capital Improvements-Bob Weidner and Sam Rashkin will co-chair. Both long-term and short-term solutions will be addressed.

The deadline for submission of May mailer articles to the Secretary is May 2. In order to minimize mailing/printing costs, effort will be made to post newsletter on website. Notice will be mailed, with option to receive hard copy of newsletter by US mail.
Monthly open board meetings will be held on the second Thursday of each month. Next meeting will be on May 12, at 7:00 pm, at the pool.
